While classifying secret files from World War II, CIA agent Ed Stone, comes across a strange dossier relating an Egyptian mummy to a mad Brazilian scientist. Stone discovers a well-articulated network of Nazi spies who were responsible for the unhurried flight to Latin America of several executioners of the Third Reich: they traveled dressed as mummies, in comfortable sarcophagi. The cast for this slapstick farce includes conductor Júlio Medaglia, veterans Carlo Mossy and Roberto Maia, active in the seventies and more recently in Cafuné (2005, shown at the 29th Mostra), Wilson Grey, who died in 1993, and even Adolf Hitler! The soundtrack is by keyboard player Mu Carvalho, ex-A Cor do Som, who, in 2002, devoted himself to devising piano accompaniment for images in silent film.
