Nadine

Nadine, 42 years old, is an independent modern woman, a successful interior designer. On a busy Saturday morning, in a suburban supermarket, Nadine runs into Daniel and his seven-month-old baby boy Sam. On impulse, she snatches the baby, runs to her car and drives away. Not sure where she is heading, she quickly decides to leave the country. During this trip, we gain insight into her life via fragmented flashbacks as well as through Nadine’s inner monologues. When Nadine hutted 40, she had lived together with Daniel for some time. A test eventually indicated that Nadine may possibly not be able to have children. Nadine, almost desperately, began to display manic behaviour. She did everything to get pregnant. The tensions that arose from this situation allowed Daniel to open himself up to the vivacious, sexy Aimee, 26 years. Only months later Nadine eventually discovered that not only Daniel was having an affair: Aimee was pregnant with his child. Will she even though be able to appreciate herself again, more than before?
