Born in Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He studied audiovisual production and visual arts. Brito works as a screenwriter and director. In 2006, he directed Um Filme Chamado Sfincter, screened on TV. He is also the director of short movies such as Um Breve Assalto (2009), Aos Pés (2010) and O Sabiá (2010), in addition to the features O Guri (2011), Glauco of Brazil (2015, 39th Mostra) and The Extra-Ordinary Life of Tarso de Castro (2017, 41st Mostra).
