The film is divided into two distinct stories with the same setting. In the first part, a young couple, actors from the Moscow Operetta Theater, Pavel and Yana are expecting a child. However, during the staging of a play, Yana falls onto the stage. The tragic situation reveals an unpredictable side of the couple. In the second part, Elena Zaitseva, the great Russian singer of the Moscow Operetta Theater, deals with the disappearance of her husband Sergey, a businessman, on the Monach Islands, during a sea cruise in Brittany.

Mikhail Kosyrev-Nesterov
Mikhail Kosyrev-Nesterov

Born in Moscow, Russia, in 1963. He graduated from the Russian Film Academy as a filmmaker. After that, Kosyrev-Nesterov also worked as a producer on various film projects. In 2008, he directed his first feature film, Ocean, which was presented at Tokyo Film Festival and at the 32nd Mostra. He also made the feature Journey to the Mother (2014).
