RÚNAR RÚNARSSON

Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 1977, he graduated from the National Film School of Denmark. Rúnarsson directed the short movies The Last Farm (2004), nominated for an Academy Award, 2 Birds (2008) and Anna (2009). He also directed the features Volcano (2011, 35th and 39th Mostra) and Sparrows (2015), winner of Jury’s Prize at 39th Mostra.
