Film-essay about the creative process of Mário Peixoto (1908-1992), author of Limite (1931), one of the classics of Brazilian cinema. The film also freely recreates the director’s vision when he shot his masterpiece.

JOEL PIZZINI

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1960, he directed short and medium-length films, such as Caramujo-Flor (1988, 14 th Mostra), Enigma de Um Dia (1996), Glauces: Estudo de um Rosto (2002, 25 th Mostra), Abry (2003), Dormente (2005), Zero Helena (2006, 30 th Mostra) and Sea of Fire (2014, 39 th Mostra). His feature debut came with the documentary 500 Almas (2004, 29 th Mostra). Later, Pizzini made, among others, Anabazys (2007), co-directed with Paloma Rocha, Mr. Sganzerla - Os Signos da Luz (2011) and Naked Eye (2014, 37 th Mostra).
