A documentary about the life and work of the pioneer and visionary botanical illustrator Margaret Mee, one of the most important artists of the 20th century and a tireless advocate of the need for preservation of the Brazilian flora. Through the story of her life, her love for nature, and her ecological activism, she warned about the need to preserve the environment through her art.

She graduated in communications and studied video production, editing, and post-production in New York. She has directed the video Tomie Othake – Novas Pinturas (1993), the medium-length films Ismael e Adalgisa (2001) and Sexualidades (2003, 27th Mostra), as well as the fiction features Mulheres do Brasil (2006) and Como Esquecer (2010).
