Three core families in three different situations need to deal with subtle changes in their lives, either involving an abrupt loss or a long awaited reunion. Facing difficult moments, three mothers express love for their children when facing difficult moments. The characters observe manifestations in life with curiosity, interest and shock. The film captures little gestures and actions around these painful happenings, in the middle of simple and inexplicable experiences in everyday life.
