After a long time without seeing each other, two cousins, Esteban and Pipa, have to drive together to their grand-father’s funeral in Villegas, their childhood village. Each of them faces up the challenges of adulthood in their own way, and the trip soon becomes an intense journey.

GONZALO TOBAL

Born in 1981 in Argentina, he directed the short films To Shut the Lid (2003), Family Album in Four Installments (2005), Now Everybody Seems to be Happy (2007), awarded at the Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival, and Cynthia Still got the Keys (2010). Villegas was in the Cannes Film Festival official selection.
