Babeldom is a city so massive and growing at such speed that soon light itself will not escape its gravitational pull. How can two lovers communicate, one from inside the city and one outside? This is an elegy to urban life, against the backdrop of a city of the future, a portrait assembled from film shot in modern cities all around the world and collected from the most recent research in science, technology and architecture.

PAUL BUSH

Born in 1956 in London, UK. He studied fine arts at Goldsmiths College, in London. His films cross the boundaries between documentary, fiction and animation, and having been shown booth in art galleries and conventional theatres. Amongst them are the shorts His Comedy (1994), Still Life with Small Cup (1995), Pas de Deux de Deux (2001), Secret Love (2002) and Central Swiss (2006). Babeldom is his first feature film.
