Luke is a young man who suffers from a rare genetic disorder - zerophilia. This uncommon condition allows him to change sex at will, which provides him with a great deal of freedom, but that also has its disadvantages. As when Luke feels drawn to Michelle only to become Luca, a girl who is then overcome by desire for Michelle?s brother, Max. In his extraordinary journey through the world of zerophilia, Luke becomes familiar with a life style in which all of the rules concerning sexual identity are brought to naught. The dilemma, however, is an issue that is far beyond sexuality: "Who are you really in love with?"

MARTIN CURLAND

Studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and was, for some time, assistant director on Broadway, for TV productions and film projects. He also studied at the University of Southern California`s School of Cinema - Television and began to write and to direct short films such as Silent Rain (1993). Zerophilia is his first feature.
