An impossible passion. He is a man who was brought up strictly, of good disposition and humanistic traits. She works as a radio broadcaster and translator into English, but has a dream of one day becoming a writer. However, there is yet another difference. He is twenty years older than she is. This is the story of the passion that Jorge Luís Borges, renowned Argentinian writer, cherished for Estela Canto. At the time, at the age of 46, the author of “The Aleph” was still not known to the public in general and lived with his mother. Un Amor de Borges refers, in delicate terms, to this love story without a happy ending, of the first years of the literary life of Jorge Luís Borges and the troubles he encountered with the Peron regime.
