Documentary on the day-to-day life of Esben Benestad, a much respected doctor from a small town in Norway. The author of two books on sexual education, columnist of a magazine for men, political activist and, also a transvestite, his second identity is given the name of Esther Pirelli, sexual therapist and actress. Who signs for this profile of Esben, curiously enough, is his son Even. Armed with a home-made camera and some Super-8 film, he draws a portrait that is sensitive and full of humor on his father?s mode of life, focusing, above all, on his relationship with the family and with the community.

Born in Norway, in 1974, he studied film directing at the Oslo Academy for Cinema and TV and has worked as photographic director since 1997. He directed five short films and, in 2000, made a series of documentaries for a Norwegian television broadcasters. All About my Father is his first feature, a documentary.
