Director Hsui Hark has produced spectacular editing in this plot for action that even makes reference to the Brazilian city of Aracaju. Within a framework of hectic editing and far-fetched planning, he has produced a veritable treasure trove of scenes of Hong Kong today. A boy lives there - a boy on the look-out for easy money, so much so that he goes to work as a bodyguard. He tries to find his friend Ben, an ex-mercenary who decided to start life all over again with a woman whom he has just married. Chance brings them together again to work on one and the same case: homicide. The collaboration between them lasts for only a little. They do not realize that the relationship between them is wearing thin and that they will be driven to a deadlock.
