A journey through Islam, through visits to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Chechenia, and Qatar, in order to outline a picture of recent history subsequent to the September 11, 2001, attacks. An endeavor to shed light on the process that leads to as radical a choice as self-sacrifice on the part of young men who turn themselves into a human bomb. The directors of the film traveled for ten years throughout these countries under heavy Moslem influence, and met with clan leaders, mullahs, and other followers of the Koran.

MARIUSZ PILIS E MARCIN MAMON

Mariusz Pilis Born in 1967, in Poland. He studied at the Jaggiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Director, script writer, and director of photography, he contributed to several TV broadcasters such as the BBC and Channel 4. In 2001, he made The Price of Truth, a documentary on Czech journalist Petra Prochazkova, war correspondent who reported on the situation of children in Grozny, in Chechen. Marcin Mamon Born in Krakow, Poland. He studied at the Jaggiellonian University. He was a reporter for Polish television, producer, director, and editor for documentaries. In his first documentary, The Real Godfather, of 1998, he portrayed the heads of the Chechen mafia.
