Miriam, a girl of 28, arrives at a small village in Morocco, with only one suitcase and an address. She intends to become a fugitive, bound for the Spanish coast. She meets Nouh, a boy of 8, who introduces her to Rick, a charming drug trafficker and one of the contacts for a network that see people out of the country illegally. He falls in love with her and decides to help her. Meanwhile Miriam finds her way to a house where, along with several other girls, she is to await her turn to exit the country.

DAOUD AOULAD SYAD

Born in April, 1953, in Marrakesh, Morocco, with a doctorate in physical sciences in France. He began a career in film making making short films and documentaries. Farewell Travelling Player, of 1998, was his first fiction feature and won prizes in Morocco. In 2001, he directed The Wind Horse, also an award-winning film in Morocco.
