Danilo is a theater director obsessed by the injustice committed against ranch owner Manoel da Motta Coqueiro, a true case that gave rise to the process of annulment of the death sentence in Brazil. With encouragement from a beautiful, mysterious woman, Danilo is rehearsing a play about Motta Coqueiro, in which he himself plays the part of the ranch owner and the remaining roles are played by psychiatric patients. When the boundaries between real and imaginary merge, Danilo is forced to relive historical facts in the first person, aware of the tragic fate of his character. Full of unexpected roles and surprising twists, Uncontrolable presents the issue of capital punishment from a new perspective.
