This portrait of Yuri Morozov, a leading figure of Russian underground rock music in the 70-80s, shows us an unknown side of USSR, where many artists were persecuted. Previously unseen KGB archives and clandestine films 8mm of concerts look back on thirty years of Russian society.

VLADIMIR KOZLOV

Born in 1956 in Minsk. He studied History at the Belarus Stade University. Worked at Belarusfilm as an assistant director (1978 – 1992). He finished courses for assistant and second unit directors at VGIK (Moscow). In 1992 he started to play and stage performances at French groups. In 2002 he started to direct short fiction and documentary films. The Rock Monoloque is his first feature film.
