Srifa, south of Lebanon, during the days that followed the ceasefire of the last war. Five women who left their village during the Israelian air raids are back to tell their traumatic experience and talk about their education to resistance. TV and broadcasting news are put against the individual stories and evoke the complete destruction around.

MARCO PASQUINI

He was born in Rome, Italy, in 1975. He studied Modern Literature and Philosophy at the Third University of Rome. Since 1994 he shot numerous documentaries as a cameraman, most of which for RAI 3 and Tele+ broadcasters. He shot also full-length films for both cinema and TV, with particular collaboration with Sicilian directors Daniele Ciprì and Franco Maresco. He produces documentaries dealing with inter-cultural issues, taking care of direction and photography – among them, he shot two reportages in Northern/Western India, two documentaries on Roma’s present cultural aspects and conditions and one short-documentary shot in Lebanon immediately after the 2006 war, The Return.
