Quando Sei Nato Non Puoi Piú Nasconderti

Sandro is a rich boy, aged 12, on a Mediterranean cruise with his father and a friend. In the middle of the night, with both adults off guard, the child falls into the sea and very nearly drowns. He is saved by a young Rumanian immigrant and becomes yet another member of a population that make up what is, to all intents and purposes, a veritable slave ship in modern times, packed with unlawful immigrants from every walk of life - people in search of new opportunity, exploited by Europeans, and subject to subhuman conditions. When the boy does, finally, get to go home to his family, he tries to make his parents adopt the youth who saved him, together with his sister. As from then, conflict prevails, between the immigrants and their hosts, divided as they are by extremely different needs.
