A collage of words and impressions by the Italian director on the most intricate themes in our society. Her strong stand in defense of democracy and consistent belief in the popular culture are among the subjects broached. Laura Betti wished to share Pasolini?s philosophy with the public today, by resorting to the director?s immense communicative capacity. She also tries to show the extent and magnitude of his thought, in most instances polemic, that meant he was rejected both by part of the public and by the intellectuals, especially by his own country. There are statements by some who co-existed with Pasolini, amongst these film maker Bernardo Bertolucci and poet Paolo Volponi and directors Mimmo Calopresti and Francesca Archibugi. "I made the film because I wanted to know where Pasolini really stands. This is a film, but it is more like healthy delirium", says director Laura Betti.
