Yessica and Miriam are two young students who live in Mexico City. They are friends and share everything with each other: notebooks, make-up, and perfumes. Yessica is a standard teenager. She is rebellious and in conflict with her family and with her classmates. Her mother is single and works as a shoe saleswoman. Miriam has a more balanced life. In spite of the peculiarities of life for each one, they have only each other. One day, Jorge and Topi come into their lives. Yessica and Miriam are tossed into the indifference and the coldness of the adult world, never again to return.

MARISA SISTACH

Born in 1952, in Mexico. She directed a short film, Y si Platicamos de Agosto? (1980). In 1988, she directed her first feature, Los Pasos de Ana (1988), and later, I Dreamt About You Last Night (1992), and the documentary La Línea Paterna (1995). Violet Perfume: Nobody Hears You is her third feature.
