One year after the September 11 attacks, seven New Yorkers try to rebuild their lives looking for love, success and happiness. Their different paths cross on that fateful day in 2002. The main characters are ordinary men and women, seen occasionally on the streets or in elevators of commercial buildings. A housewife who is disillusioned with marriage; a young couple with financial problems and a troubled child; a man who is questioned daily by his psychologist; a pair of guards who are very different yet similar at the same time; and a young baker who creates cakes that are veritable works of art, who will have to face a strong competitor for the first time. Seven different characters who live in the city that reflects the world. Seven people who are anxious for a major event that would change the course of their lives. One year after the great tragedy, their fates are altered.
