Over three years, the director travelled the world to find and give a voice to farmers, philosophers and economists who are inventing and experimenting locally with success solutions to heal the wounds of a land too long abused. Amongst them Pierre Rabhi and Claude and Lydia Bourguignon in France, the landless workers and professor Ana Primavesi in Brazil and Vandana Shiva in India.

COLINE SERREAU

Was born in Paris, France, in 1947. Began her filmmaking career in 1976 with the militant feminist feature-length documentary But What do they Want?. Directed the feature films Why Not! (1977), Three Men and a Cradle (1985), Mama, There is a Man in your Bed (1989), exhibited at the 14th Mostra, and La Crise (1992), screened at the 17th Mostra.
