Said and Khaled are two Palestinians who have been selected for a suicide attack. They are assigned the mission with time sufficient only to spend one last evening with their respective families that, according to their instructors, must have no inkling as to what is to be. In these that are to be his last hours, Khaled is swathed in doubt as to the legitimacy of his action. Said, on the other hand, the son of a collaborator executed as a traitor, does not hesitate to follow the path chosen, but shudders at the thought that in the attempt, innocent victims are to die. Starting out from the town of Nablus, with the facades and buildings destroyed, they will arrive at Tel Aviv. This will be the moment - now or never.

Born in Nazareth, Palestine, in 1961. After having studied and worked as an airplane engineer in the Netherlands for several years, he produced the feature film Curfew (1994, 18th Mostra), directed by Rashid Masharawi. He directed Rana’s Wedding (2002); Paradise Now (2005, 29th Mostra), which won the Golden Globe for best foreign language film, and was also nominated for the Oscar; The Courier (2011) and Omar (2013, 37th Mostra), awarded at the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival.
