JULIO ALVES

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1971. He started to work in cinema as an assistant director. He directed his first short film, A Fachada (1995), followed by O Despertador (1996), Alferes (2000), Ossudo (2008, 32nd Mostra), and O Jogo (2010). Home is his feature film debut.
