Paris is the backdrop for three young men at a time of great agitation, change and social rebellion – spring, 1968. One is Matthew, an American student.

A passionate admirer of the cinema, he goes to the movie theatre daily, where he comes across many people among whom Isabelle and Theo, who have an incestuous relationship. They become closer, and he eventually goes to live with them. Different cultures draw closer, joined by a common passion. Tension increases between Theo and Mathew, who dispute Isabelle’s attention. Tension rises more and more, and leads to a series of arguments. At the same time, popular uprising and contestation grow in Parisian streets.
