Or is a girl of sixteen who spends most of her time looking after her mother Ruthie, a prostitute trying to break with drug addiction. School is the last of concerns to the girl whose relationships are largely based only on sex. In spite of all, Or is very close to her mother and also pursues a romance with her classmate Ido. But demons from the past come up to threaten Or?s fragile family structure and contribute to Ido?s family disapproving of the relationship between the two youngsters.
