A film based on the real story of Olga Benario, a German communist naturalized Brazilian, and wife of Luís Carlos Prestes. At the time of the Vargas dictatorship (1930 until 1945), she was imprisoned and sent to Germany taken over by the Nazis, where she died in a concentration camp having given birth to a child - a girl, Anita Leocádia, saved by intervention of her grandmother and her aunt.

Elie Grappe

Born in Lyon, France, in 1994. He studied classical music at the Lyon National Conservatory for ten years, before studying cinema at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne. Grappe directed the short films Répétition (2014) and Suspendu (2015), and was the casting director and acting coach for Blaise Harrison’s film, Particles (2019). Olga is his first feature film.
