Rio de Janeiro, 1967/68. Brazil, following the military coup in 1964 and on the eve of AI-5. Student parades, music festivals - there is an air of excitement about the country. A school-newspaper, O Sol, is a unique experience in journalism and in culture in Brazil. Through the pages of the newspaper, encounters, snatches of conversation with people who were part of the experience, one small part of this short, vibrant period, is recovered, without yearning for the past and with joy.
