An autobiographical film that departs from the court of the samba school Mangueira into the community of Morro da Mangueira, in Rio de Janeiro, bringing a personal report of samba and the history of the community.

GEORGIA GUERRA-PEIXE

Studied cinema at FAAP University, in São Paulo, and started her career in 1984, in Rio de Janeiro, at the production companies of filmmakers Tizuka Yamasaki and Arnaldo Jabor. Worked as an assistant of direction for advertising pieces and directed the short films Pretérito Perfeito (1998) and Minuto Verdade (2001).
