Four episodes depicting key events in the family of the director since 1948. Based on the diaries of his father when he fought in the resistance and letters his mother wrote to family members forced out of the country, he reconstructs the daily life of those dubbed “Israeli Arabs” when they chose to remain in their homeland and became minority. Intimate memories that constantly merge with the collective history of a vanishing country.
