Writer Daniel Boltanski is famous for his best-seller, A Journey in Winter. He is married to Nicoletta and they have a son, Fabrizio, who is about to get married. Daniel lives in seclusion in his luxurious house by Lake Geneva, safe from the harassment of his fans and the media by his agent David Grinsberg. On his way to his son’ wedding in Capri, he meets an attractive young woman named Mila and spends the night with her. On the following day at the wedding, he is taken aback when he finds out that his son’ fiancée is the woman whom he had slept with. However, what hurts him most is to realize that he is obsessed by her.
