Glória, her boyfriend Danny and Jeff are three young Americans spending their holidays in Rio de Janeiro. During the trip, Gloria and her friends meet Carlos, son of her father?s partner. One day, they decide to go for a boat ride with Carlos. The boat trip is uneventful and a lot of fun until they begin to fool about, one incident of which is to have an unexpected ending. Gloria and her friends throw Carlos into the sea. He disappears. The accident is to destroy the friendship between the three of them and generate intrigue and mutual suspicion.

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1972. He graduated in engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro and in cinema from New York University, In 1997, he began his master`s degree studies in script writing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles where he wrote Dead in the Water, his first feature as director.
