The territorial limits between insanity and crime, born from Dario Argento’s imagination, now conquer the cyberspace in this whodunit thriller about a serial killer. It all begins with the kidnapping of a British tourist, which leads the Rome police to start an investigation. It doesn’t take too long for the officers to find that the criminal is a serial killer known as “the card player”, who challenges the Police into a virtual poker game. The rules are simple: if he loses, the victim will be freed. If he wins, he will broadcast the tourist’s murder on the Internet. As the number of victims grows, Anna, a young detective is assigned the case with an Irish investigator as partner. However, what she doesn’t know is that the card player is after her.

DARIO ARGENTO

Born in Rome, Italy, in 1940, Argento began his career as a movie critic and a script writer. His made his first feature, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, in 1970. He reached international fame as a suspense and horror filmmaker of films like Deep Red (1975), Suspiria (1977) and Terror at the Opera (1987).
