Shinnoshuke and her partner have a business selling bonsai in a shopping center in Tokyo. A friend of Shinnoshuke?s, Haruko, is at the time in a dramatic situation: she has been thrown out of her boyfriend?s house, and asks if she may stay in his apartment because she has no other place in which to live. A short time later, Haruko meets up with a new boyfriend and leaves. Although he is good to her, the new boyfriend has a hidden secret that is to bring a drastic change for all.

SHIORI KAZAMA

Born in 1966 in Saitama, Japan. She directed her first short film in 8 mm, ZeroxZero, in 1984, when she was in high school. Imitation, Interior, from 1985, her second short film, was part of the Turim International Film Festival. Her first feature was made in 1989 - Melodies. In 1995, she directed How Old is the River? and, in 2002, The Mars Canon, awarded the prize for best Asian film at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
