From out of nowhere Marco’s estranged father Gabriel stumbles back into his life. Even though his sudden presence open’s old wounds and revives Marco’s resentment he still sees this return as a welcome breath of fresh air in his otherwise desolate and solitary world. Gabriel personifies nightlife, partying, exuberance. He dreams of opening a bar like no other together with his son. All they need is the money. Caught in his father`s wake, no price is too high to catch up for lost time.

DAVID OELHOFFEN

Born in France in 1968. After working in production, he wrote and directed his first short film, The Wall, in 1996. He goes on to write and direct a medium-length feature, In My Absence, and three other shorts. He also made the feature films In Your Wake (2007, 31st Mostra) and Far from Men (2014).
