Just another day begins for this modest family. Roger is unemployed and sinking into depression. His wife Nadine, torn between her job and her moody adolescent son, has nothing to say to her husband. And Laurent is a silent young boy fleeing a home where nobody communicates with each other anymore, who seeks solace in a group of older and more vindictive youths. Suddenly, a gunshot is fired behind a door. Who fired it? Why? The film will retrace the course of events of that day and analyses each character’s perspective leading up to that dramatic incident.

TAYLAN BARMAN

He was born in 1968 in Istambul, Turkey. Self-taught, he started directing the short film L’Amour du Desespoir (1995). Among the features films he wrote and directed are Kamel (1997), Au-dela de Gibraltar (2001) and 9mm (2008).
