Miriam-Ester is struggling to affirm her aversion for men within her own family. Ruth?s husband, surprisingly, allows her to see her mistress twice a week. Yudith, daughter of a rabbi, declares her homosexuality quite openly, because she regards lying as the worst thing in the world. Three women fight for their sexual rights within the orthodox community in Jerusalem. They are Lesbian and members of a secret group that supports them - the "Ortho-dykes". The documentary shows the struggle of these women.

ILIL ALEXANDER

Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel, in 1971. She has worked freelance as a director for Israeli television as from when she graduated with honors from the Tel-Aviv University of Cinema, five years ago. With her first documentary, Keep Not Silent, Ilil won several prizes amongst which: Israeli Academy Award for best documentary in 2004; prize from the public at the Gay and Lesbian Festival in Turim, and at the Melbourne International Film Festival 2005.
