Detective Pinto comes across the body of a man on a Lisbon beach. Close to a parked car, he finds a video camera with images of a young woman. He later locates this mysterious woman and questions her; however, the information she provides make the case all the more confusing. What did the dead archaeologist have in mind? And the other women who are on the video? The detective firmly believes he can get to the bottom of this story. Or is it all the fruit of his imagination?

MARKUS HELTSCHL

Born in Innsbruck, Austria, a director and producer, he studied at the Vienna School for Cinema. In 2002, he made an animated short film Space in Time. In 2001, he was part of the Rotterdam Film Festival with As Ever. He was co-script writer for Raffl, in 1984, selected for the 11th Mostra. Dead Man`s Memories was awarded the Interfilm Award at the Max Ophüls Festival in Saarbrücken, in Germany.
