Surrounded by friends such as Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire, legendary Argentine pianist Martha Argerich talks of her tastes, reflections, fears, and preferences. Scenes from her native Argentina, excerpts from concerts, both recent and on file, including her first performances in Warsaw and in Geneva, in 1957, alternate with the interview with the director. The leading feature in this documentary is the interview, at night, in the pianist?s home.

Born in France in 1962. Dedicates himself to the making of music documentaries since 1990. He directed, among others, the films: Bach at the Pagoda (1997), Claude Debussy (2000), Money or Blood (2004), Martha Argerich, Conversations Nocturne (2002, 29th Mostra), Maria Bethânia, Música É Perfume (2005, 29th Mostra) and Rio Sonata (2010, 34th Mostra).
