The story of a gay couple and their mysterious relationship with the jungle in Northeast Thailand, a hot and damp place where all the events have particular rules of their own. It’s a magical time for officer Keng and the love between him and his young boyfriend Tong is a happy and uncomplicated one. The nights spent with Tong’s family are quiet and pleasant, and their music fills the city’s air. But, this harmony is suddenly disrupted by a disappearance. Some sort of wild beast is slaughtering the cows. Local legends have it that a human being can somehow be transformed into such a beast. A tale is told about a soldier who leaves alone for the heart of the forest, where myth often turns into reality. Or so it seems.
