Jesus Children of America

Born in Atlanta, USA, in 1957. Since his first movie, She`s Gotta Have It (1986), the director exposes his concern with the themes that predominate in his whole work: the racism and the situation of black people in the American society. With Do the Right Thing (1989), Lee gained enough repercussion to place him among the most discussed filmmakers in the United States. Directed, among others, the titles Mo` Better Blues (1990), Jungle Fever (1991), Macolm X (1992), Clockers (1995), Girl 6 (1996, 20th Mostra), Bamboozled (2000), 25th Hour (2002) Inside Man (2006), Miracle at St. Anna (2008), Red Hook Summer (2012) and Chi-Raq (2015) He also signed the direction of the television documentary A Huey P.
