Îles Flottantes

Kaat, Isa and Sascha are three friend who will soon be thirty. Awareness that they are no longer so young, brings reflections on the manner in which they have led their lives up to then - at times inconsequentially. It is from this new perspective that they are to view the friendship that binds them and deal with new events. Kaat makes everyone perplexed when she chooses her birthday to end a relationship with Max. She is pregnant and knows that the father of the child may well be Christophe, her friend Isa’s boyfriend. The end to the relationship and possible betrayal brings Kaat closer to Sascha who is also going through difficult times. Meanwhile, wrapped up as she is in her own troubles, Isa knows nothing of her friend?s betrayal and does not realize she is gradually losing Christophe. Within this triangle of friendship and passion, the three friends are to follow their different destinies.
