Wind Man

Set in a remote Kazakh outpost, a young boy falls gravely ill when he sees the face of an ominously veiled stranger -- perhaps Death itself. During a thunderstorm, a fireball plummets from the heavens and crashes through the roof of a small hut revealing a mute, elderly man with one strange distinguishing feature... he has wings! The angelic looking old man cures the ailing boy despite growing superstitious fears from the local villagers. News of the old man’s mysterious powers spreads like wildfire attracting the attention of several bureaucrats who try to use him for their own greed driven purposes.Only the innocent boy and his kindhearted father, Almat, have the angel’s best interests in mind, leaving the village folk vulnerable to divine punishment for their bad faith.
