Belgrade. The spring of 1999. Bombs fall and the cast and technical team from the film find themselves in the midst of a shoot-out. Sergej, the producer, was already in a disastrous situation without any money and with his bank account blocked. The Secret Security Service is on the look-out for Sergej’s best friend, Harvey, an American businessman. To save the film and, also, his friend, Sergej is willing to go to any lengths, including persuading Harvey to play the main part in his film. In divulging War Live, the subtitle chosen is “How to make a film with bombs exploding over your head”. War Live is the new film by the producers of Pretty Village, Pretty Flame (Srdjan Dragojevic, 1996, winner of the public prize at 20th Mostra).
