Gigantic

Three friends from Hamburg lead a care-free existence, enjoying each day as it comes, what with the building where they live, fast food restaurants, and a mechanics workshop. They are about twenty years old, and they dream of a different, absolutely gigantic reality. For years they were inseparable: brooding, melancholic Floyd; irreverent, sensitive Ricco; and proper, kind Walter. Floyd, however, is leaving town, decided to embark on a cargo boat that, the next morning, will set sail for Singapore. Only one night is left before the inevitable farewells. And this night must be special, long, and unforgettable. To the sound of stimulating background music, this is a melancholic comedy about friendship, separation, and the sensation of living on the eve of a new millenium.
