A musicfilm: flamenco, passion and life in Andalucia - a big mystical tree with deep roots and many branches. This is a personal collage, in cinema-direct style, filmed two years in all Andalucia, intertwined with fascinating relatives in Cairo, Istanbul, Japan and in Khatak, India. Puro and moderno, old and young, beginners, folks and masters, gitanos, studios, penias, festivals, ferias, in streets, fields - poets, Lorca, animals. Their extreme enthusiasm, belief and energy, joy, pain, serious, funny, sometimes absurd+crazy, and adorable. As the notorious dancer Matilde Coral affirmed: "Flamenco es mi vida, bacteria in my veins, I am masochistic!". The documentary captures performances by some of the great artists in this style, like El Pele, Andrés Marin, Soraya Clavijo, Juan Polvillo, Maria Serrano, Eva Yerbabuena, Ensemble of Benares, and Wust El Balad Band.
