Caio is 40 years old and works in a scrap dealer`s up-country. In a world surrounded by rusty bits and spare parts, he tries to put together the puzzle of his own existence. He has a loyal companion and a steady job, but it has not always been that way. In former times he lived at high speed and in absolute irresponsibility. He was lucky to emerge alive, but had to leave town, family, and friends. Today, close to Xmas and end of year festivities, he takes a balance of events and decides to go back to the capital. Many things are unchanged: others, not so, but his mere presence will bring about transformations, for small isolated facts that occur in fractions of a second radically modify the lives of several persons every day. Caio will eventually encounter once more a man he has not seen for a very long time, namely - himself.
