July 2006, Israel launched a war campaign in Southern Lebanon in response to rocket attacks and the capture of two Israeli soldiers by the Hezbollah. A few months later, the actress Catherine Deneuve comes to Beirut for the first time to attend a charity gala. Despite the schedule being tight and the journey dangerous, she embarks on a trip to Southern Lebanon to see it for herself. Guided by the Lebanese actor Rabih Mroué, they set-out on a road trip into the war-affected zones. An unpredictable adventure then unravels... Will the insight of the actress allow the beauty of the area to be captured, in spite of the war-torn Lebanese eyes no longer being able to see it?
